Eco System integrations are convenient so that’s to consider. Also, my friends and family are all Apple Sheep. One thing for sure is that I’m switching to T-Mobile. Promotions right now: -Free Pixel 8 and 8 Pro (no trade in required) -$20-$25 a month after the trade in for the iPhone 15 Pro/Max. The iPhone 8+ has a 401 PPI screen so it's sharp as hell, almost as sharp as the iPhone X, and you also get more screen than the iPhone X. The 8+ is an immersive, media device which a very comfortably large screen. The iPhone X still feels like a small screen phone because of its narrow aspect ratio. Leaning towards the 8+ because of these reasons: Longer battery life. Larger screen. Cheaper price. Annoyed of the fact that XS doesn’t show the battery %. Left and right swipe from the top of the XS should be for notification and the center should be for control center. The unequal holes at the bottom of the XS. Would like to hear your thoughts.
XR! Faster newer and new design. More future proof. I personally like smaller phones. The plus version was just too big to handle with one hand. I have the x now and it has the perfect size. I believe XR is a bit larger than the X but smaller than the XS MAX which has the same size as the plus versions.
The X really is way more different than the 8. Noticeable worthy improvements include: OLED (screen tech that has brighter colors and darker blacks while using less battery than the iPhone 8’s LCD screen,) WAY smaller bezels, camera, noticeably faster, and for me personally, a very luxurious looking glass back. It looks so sleek. Google Pixel 8 Pro vs. iPhone 15 Pro Max Speed Test. RAM management on Pixels is so dreadful it's almost funny. If I accidentally leave an app it's 50/50 as to whether or not it stays in memory or if it'll be freshly booted. RAM management is terrible gaming performance is worse and editing videos and so takes longer with the Pixel.
The frame on the X looks kinda plasticky and cheap, bet it will scratch super easy like the jet black iPhone did. The matte frame looks so nice with the glass back on the iPhone 8 and it won't scratch as easy. The X would have looked nicer with matte frame anyone else agree with me?

Choose the iPhone 15 Pro Max and that increases to a 5x optical zoom but, again, it's limited by that 12-megapixel sensor. Choosing a Pixel 8 Pro will get you more pixels with the main camera having a 50-megapixel sensor. The theme continues with the 48-megapixel sensors used in the ultrawide and zoom cameras, too.

If iOS is your desire, get the iPhone. If foldable or a pen compatible with a phone is what your needs are, get a Samsung. Ask the same question in an iPhone group, majority would lean towards an iPhone, ask here and majority lean towards Samsung. It all comes down to preferences. Here goes my last resort in asking for your advises. A bit of info: Current android user with 6.7" + 4,500 mAh battery and weigh slightly lighter than Plus. Daily usage: occasional camera, music for up to 5 hours, no gaming, no youtube, basic social media (no tiktok, bit of instagram, reddit, x, whatsapp), maps, banking.

Even though I really liked the s8 plus, I still wanted to try the iPhone. I figured that later on I could just jump back on the Samsung bandwagon. I decided to go with the iPhone 8 Plus because for the iPhone X, I would’ve had to put a $280 dollar deposit, and in the other hand, the iPhone 8 Plus was zero down.

Reddit’s little corner for iPhone lovers (and some people who just mildly enjoy it…) I’ve never had a Plus sized phone before but so far with the 8 Plus it’s fantastic. I haven’t run into any issues with it being “too big”. It has a bigger screen, better battery, better camera, and more RAM than the 8. It’s absolutely worth it.

For me it’s a big upgrade coming from one Motorola G Stylus. I compared the plus with my wife’s 14 pro max and have to tell you I feel the difference. I am not fancy with phones but since I got tired with cheap phones I decided to have an IPhone. For the plus price I thing is overpriced because it’s feels the same as one of the regular
