Hi all,started the car today,and a fault flashed up on the dash computer,saying ANTI POLLUTION FAULT,also the engine managment light is staying illuminated on the dash,the car started ok,and runs and drives great,all servicing is up to date,the car is a 1.4 desire 2005.72000 miles on the clock,any suggestions very welcome..Cheers WEG !!!!!
Re: C5 - Antipolution fault appeared. I can only talk from the problems I have had with my HDI so anyone with petrol knowledge please contradict me if need be. Dont panic to soon, first do this and it can often clear the problem. Start engine leave running 1-2 mins turn off remove key leave for 1-2 mins and repeat for 5 times.

Reading and clearing faults does not help the fault you have is NOT saying your turbo is stuffed it is saying it overboosted and the ecu has shut the boost

The anti pollution light is an engine fault indicator. It could be a very minor issue or something more serious that could cause engine problems. Get it checked asap.make sure you check oil and coolant levels first.
